لقي خمسة صينيين وسائقهم الباكستاني، اليوم الثلاثاء، مصرعهم في تفجير انتحاري استهدف عربتهم في شمال غرب باكستان، حسبما أعلنت الشرطة.

وقال المسؤول الكبير في شرطة ولاية خيبر بختنخوا محمد علي غندابور لوكالة “فرانس برس” إن “خمسة صينيين وسائقهم المحلي قتلوا في الهجوم”.

وكان الصينيون الخمسة غادروا موقع سدّ داسو الكهرومائي الذي يشرف طاقم صيني على جزء من عملية تشييده عندما تعرّضت مركبتهم للتفجير في مدينة بشام، وفق ما أفاد المصدر.

من جهته قال محمد علي جاندابور قائد الشرطة المحلية لوكالة “رويترز” إن “انتحارياً اقتحم بسيارته الملغومة موكب مهندسين صينيين كان في طريقه من إسلام أباد إلى معسكرهم في داسو بإقليم خيبر بختون خوا”.

ووصلت شرطة خيبر بختون خوا إلى مكان الحادث وبدأت عمليات الإغاثة.

وهذا هو ثالث هجوم كبير يستهدف المصالح الصينية في باكستان خلال أسبوع. واستهدف الانفجاران السابقان قاعدة جوية وميناء استراتيجيا في إقليم بلوخستان في جنوب غرب البلاد حيث تستثمر الصين المليارات في مشروعات بنية تحتية.

وفي تموز 2021، قُتل تسعة صينيين في تفجير استهدف حافلة كانت تنقل مهندسين ومسّاحين وميكانيكيين يعملون في الموقع عينه.

ومنذ فترة طويلة، يشكّل أمن الطواقم الصينية العاملة في عدّة مشاريع منشآت في باكستان مصدر قلق لبكين التي استثمرت مليارات الدولارات في البلد خلال السنوات الأخيرة.
