رفعت شركة ستراكو اللبنانية، والمسؤولة عن العديد من مشاريع البنى التحتية في العراق، من رصيد عدم الرضا والغضب الشعبي تجاهها، لتضيف فشل مشروع طريق بسماية الى قائمة الإخفاقات السابقة المسجلة في عدة مشاريع.

وفي طريقة عمل اثارت السخرية الشعبية، قادت الامطار التي شهدتها العاصمة بغداد لاكتشاف المواطنين ان شركة ستراكو اللبنانية لم تنشئ انابيب او مجاري او اية الية لتصريف المياه، حيث استقرت المياه على جانبي الطريق من بوابة بسماية ولغاية فلكة سلمان باك، بسبب عدم وجود أي منفذ لخروج مياه الامطار وتصريفها.

وناشد المواطنون رئيس الحكومة للاطلاع على مدخل بغداد الجنوبي واعمال شركة ستراكو الذي وصفوه بـ”الفاشل” مطالبين بمحاسبة وطرد الشركة، لاستهانتها بالعراقيين.
