بحث رئيس ائتلاف دولة القانون نوري المالكي، اليوم الثلاثاء، (26 آذار 2024)، مع سفير جمهورية تركيا لدى العراق على رضا كوناي، العلاقات الثنائية وسبل تطويرها في المجالات كافة ومناقشة القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

وأكد المالكي خلال اللقاء بحسب بيان لمكتبه تلقته “بغداد اليوم”، “أهمية تعزيز التعاون والعمل المشترك في مختلف المجالات سيما الأمنية والاقتصادية والتجارية، وضرورة التنسيق في ملف المياه وبما يضمن حصة عادلة للعراق تلبي احتياجاته”.

واشاد المالكي “بالتقدم الحاصل بين البلدين في المجال الأمني والاتفاق حوّل مواجهة المنظمات الأرهابية من أجل دعم الاستقرار في كلا البلدين”.

من جانبه، أكد السفير التركي علي رضا كوناي، دعم بلاده لأمن واستقرار العراق،” مؤكداً، ان” زيارة الرئيس التركي (رجب طيب أردوغان)، المرتقبة للعراق تهدف إلى تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية وتنميتها في المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك وبما يحقق تطلعات البلدين والشعبين”.

وكان نائب وزير الخارجية التركي أحمد يلدز، أعلن في 13 من الشهر الجاري، أن الرئيس رجب طيب أردوغان يعتزم القيام بزيارة إلى العراق قبل نهاية أبريل نيسان المقبل.
