علقت اللجنة القانونية البرلمانية، اليوم الخميس (28 آذار 2024)، على أهمية تعديل قانون العقوبات الذي صوت عليه مجلس النواب يوم امس الأربعاء.

وقال عضو اللجنة سالم العنبكي، في حديث صحفي ان “هذا التعديل له أهمية كبيرة خاصة بما يتعلق بمنح حصانة النائب ضد كافة الإجراءات الجزائية الا بعد الحصول على موافقة رئاسة مجلس النواب”، مؤكدا ان “هذا الامر سوف يعطي مساحة اكبر للنائب للتحرك وكشف الملفات”.

وبين العنبكي ان “الخطوة جاءت بعد الحادثة التي حصلت مع النائب هادي السلامي، والذي تم توقيفه عدة أيام بسبب كشفه ملفات عليها شبهات”، لافتا الى ان “هذه الحادثة لاقت رفض برلماني وشعبي كبير، ولهذا كان من الضرورة التحرك لمنع تكرارها مع أي نائب اخر ينوي فتح أي ملف عليها شبهات فساد وغيرها”.

وكان عضو اللجنة القانونية النيابية رائد المالكي، كشف الاربعاء (27 آذار 2024)، تفاصيل التعديلات التي اجراها مجلس النواب على قانون العقوبات العراقي النافذ.

وقال المالكي في بيان، تلقته شيروباك نيوز ان “مجلس النواب العراقي اقر تعديلا مهما لقانون العقوبات ويتضمن تجريم عقوق الوالدين، وضمان حصانة النائب ضد كافة الإجراءات الجزائية الا بعد الحصول على موافقة رئاسة مجلس النواب بالنسبة للنائب نظير ما موجود بالنسبة للقاضي”.

وأضاف، انه “تم كذلك تعديل المادة 226 بتجريم إهانة السلطات العامة، مع استثناء حق المواطن في التعبير عن رأيه ونقد السلطات العامة بقصد تقويم الأداء، وحق ابداء المظلومية”.

وكان مجلس النواب، قد صوت خلال جلسته امس الاربعاء على تعديل قانون العقوبات العراقي 111 لعام 1969، بحسب الدائرة الإعلامية للمجلس.
